    ourmaninthefield has spent the last 6 years filming festivals and club nights, capturing some of our life long heroes on film. Nothing though, had prepared us for our biggest piece of work to date…….a 45 minute film which incorporate 2 festivals, 3 gigs, more time lapses than we can count and a film that was released as the official album film of Sasha’s Involv3r.     To say ourmaninthefield has a soft spot for techno is a bit of an understatement, especially in the form Carl Cox serves it. Over the years the Warehouse project has become our homeground and one of our favourite club spots. For that reason there was a hint of sadness for us filming knowing it was the last season to be hosted at the underground car park on store street. The biggest compliment we could pay was capturing Carl Cox at his best in the arches of store street. We bid a fond farewell to a much loved venue and await more

    Anyone into electronic music will have found it almost impossible to remain unaware of the scale of the parties thrown every other Thursday throughout the summer of 2011. At the helm none other than the man who’s name has become synonymous with electronic music over the past 2 decades, Sasha. When offered a ticket to the epicentre of todays electronic music scene, ourmaninthefield was never going to decline, even if the saying goes “Never Say Never”.   • Sasha Ushuaia Closing Party part 3 of 3 Gabriel by Joe Goddard Feat. Valentina

    The 2011 Closing party wasn’t coming to an end without an encore… and what an encore it was. This club track has joined many international dj’s in 2011 and has attracted huge support accross the world. In the build up to the end Sasha was always going to end on a high. So here it is, a great end to a memorable night and the closing of a summers residency that will have had a lasting effect on the electronic music industry for years to come.

    ourmaninthefield has enjoyed many a lost evening down the Rabbit Hole at Glastonbury Festival since its appearance, its a place where friends can meet up late at night. When Nick confirmed his attendance on the 2011 lineup we were only too happy to attend. The track is Naive by Tom Glass (Nick Warren Psychedelic Wheel Mix) released on Hope Recordings on 26th September. The problem with getting this lost in the Rabbit Hole is finding your way back out….. but would you want to as this is one of our favorite small festival venues?
